Everyone needs compassion
Love that's never failing
Let mercy fall on me
Everyone needs forgiveness
The kindness of a Saviour
The hope of nations
Saviour, He can move the mountains
My God is mighty to save
He is mighty to save
Forever author of salvation
He rose and conquered the grave
Jesus conquered the grave
So take me as you find me
All my fears and failures
Fill my life again
I give my life to follow
Everything I believe in
Now I surrender
Shine your light in
Let the whole world see
We're singing, for the glory
Of the risen King
Jesus, Shine your light in
Let the whole world see
We're singing for the glory
Of the risen king

Man youth camp totally ROCKED! Words can't even begin to describe how awesome it was. All I can say is that it was a powerful and life-changing experience, definitely bringing my relationship with God to a higher level. I learnt what it means to be totally engaged in worship, to run after Him with passion, and to live a life of radical holiness and of destiny for Him. Wowee, services were just great; I love it when we can just spend endless hours loving Him in His presence. There weren't any constraints of time (we all didn't mind the 2 hours plus altar calls), and no distractions, just this whole bunch of God's people focusing on running after Him, jumping, dancing in His presence, just praising Him for being our God. You have to experience it to know what I mean. Even right after camp, I went on vacation to M'sia, I was just so addicted to worship and missed service day and night. My cousins and I just played our hillsong CDs all day in the coach, singing away and not caring if the others thought we were weird haha. To top it off, my group DIESEL won! Prize: $100 NYDC cafe vouchers! Is that cool or what? At first I thought Josh and I were going to have trouble with getting our group (comprising of rather quiet people) to gel and be enthusiastic. But guess we were able to rah-rah them enough. It must be our cheering spirit, since we didn't really win that many station games. Thank God for Deana too :) Haha, she was our live wire. Glad that I also got to know more people during this camp.
Going off the m'sia the day after we got back from camp was a little straining, I was rather tired throughout the vacation. It was fun I guess, though not adventurous like last year's caving expedition. The highlight was Cosmo's World Indoor Theme Park. Whoa I had the time of my life. Went on the really scary rollercoaster ride 3 times! :) Couldn't get enough of all the spin-ny rides as well. To be honest, I'd rather miss this m'sia trip and go for SP course though. But oh well, it was good family bonding too. Can't believe Dinesh saw me at Langkawi. I was looking out for him cos I knew he was going to be there but I never would've guessed we would both be at Pantai Cenang.
Well, I guess with the new year comes more changes and birthing (from yesterday's sermon). Some of our adults won't be with us anymore, and we're going to be scrambled and put into new cells :( Don't want cell 3 to split up. It's all so perfect already; I really love my cell. Really hope they won't split us up. I feel apprehensive about it, but at the same time a little excited. It's a good chance to meet new people too, not that I don't already know everyone in my section, but it'll be nice to get to know them better.
Whatever it may be, I'll just have to accept it, and make the best out of it.
I'm now sitting in my bro's room, in my newly renovated house, with the air-conditioner on! Finally all our rooms have ac. Although it's just a simple makeover, but it's refreshing to have a change of environment. I'll finally have enough room to store all my files and junk! :) But I won't be moving back till next week. Meanwhile, I need to go unpack all my stuff and install them into my new 4-door built-in wardrobe :)
Which reminds me, I haven't touched any school work. And I have tons of chinese h/w to do!!! *Wails and heart sinks* Sigh. Don't wanna think about it. Must be positive. BCY: Treat work as play! Yes I'll try to psycho myself. Needa get down to work soon and leave my idle days behind :( All things are possible in God, which means it's possible for me to finish the chinese exam papers and a 20-page scrapbook (in chinese!) in 2 weeks time. And study Maths and Bio as well.
Wow this is one long post. Must be because of my long absence from writing. Ok, right now, I'm losing feeling in my fingers so I'd better go before I get frostbite. Merry Christmas!
