Everyone needs compassion
Love that's never failing
Let mercy fall on me
Everyone needs forgiveness
The kindness of a Saviour
The hope of nations
Saviour, He can move the mountains
My God is mighty to save
He is mighty to save
Forever author of salvation
He rose and conquered the grave
Jesus conquered the grave
So take me as you find me
All my fears and failures
Fill my life again
I give my life to follow
Everything I believe in
Now I surrender
Shine your light in
Let the whole world see
We're singing, for the glory
Of the risen King
Jesus, Shine your light in
Let the whole world see
We're singing for the glory
Of the risen king

and has it come to this?
Regret, as usual, comes rushing in like the flustered passenger who has missed the last train- too late.
But then again, was I really wrong from the start? Well-meaning intentions still remain, albeit somewhat miscontrued, perhaps.
Misunderstanding is the numero uno wrecker of relationships.
Should I apologise for something I'm not guilty of? You know, just to be safe, because, what if...
Never mind.
I wish I didn't care. or didn't need to care. But the fact is, I do.

Get use to life, Mich - there are many times that we've got to apologise, even though we're not exactly 100% in the wrong. But then again, it doesn't really kill to say 'Sorry", although it's hard to make it come out of your mouth, when you know you're perfectly not-in-the-wrong.
Just go up to the person, close your eyes, say sorry, turn 180 degrees and walk off (pretending that you didn't say sorry).

Well prefect,
All I can say is, so often, we do things what we regret. Maybe less so for you, but for impulsive people like me, it's done often enough. Of course it is not wrong to mean well. But well-meaning intentions don't always excuse the outcome/result (especially when coupled with ignorance). Citing you the example from Black Beauty, Joe Green didn't give Black Beauty a warm cloth or warm water when she was so dead tired from fetching the doctor, because he thought she was so hot she would prefer cold water and not to have the warm cloth, but it almost killed Black Beauty, and would've been inexcusable. However, since I have no idea what you're talking about, I shall not presume to know more. All I can say is apologise for whatever you're sorry for, and mean it, don't let pride stand in the way. don't apologise for something you're not sorry for. I guess one should apologise up to the consequences of their actions/words, but not beyond. just my opinion, dear prefect.
do take care, and don't let it affect you too much if possible. rest more and focus on your upcoming hurdle.
God bless,
jo.

Thanks for your comments, Clem and Jo. Eh I guess I shldn't reveal too much- there's a reason why the post was so cryptic and stingy with information. It hasn't completely blown over yet so I won't elaborate on it.
All I can say is that I'm playing by ear and hopefully, things will simmer down soon, or even go back to how it used to be (I hope against hope).
